RG Retirements 2014
1. Hoop and All-Around European Champion Daria Svatkovskaya announced her retirement in August 2014 due to a serious spine injury. Doctors said to Dasha that she must stop doing rhythmic gymnastics. First of all, surgery was the first option, but finaly it was’t neccesary.

2. Lala Yusifova said she would retire in September 2014. After a long break caused by her shoulder injury, she was back for Azerbaijan Championships, where she won silver medal behind current national champion Marina Durunda. However, World Cup Corbeil-Essonnes was her last international tournament.
"But now, I'm retired." she said.
"First I want to thank you for all, because you always supported and loved me so much, thank you very much, It was very nice to hear your applause, your ovations (…) I competed for myself and especially for you my fans!! But now i'm retired. Thank you so much for everything. "
3. Alexandra Piscupescu who won the 2014 Irina Deleanu Cup also announced her retirement from Rhythmic Gymnastics after Romanian Championships. She placed 32nd at World Championships and was 6 times Romanian Champion.
